The Path to Funding
11-16-2022
The Peabody Institute has published an open educational resource for early-career artists who want to develop their craft and then find funding for it: The Path to Funding: The Artist’s Guide to Building Your Audience, Generating Income, and Realizing Career Sustainability. The free e-book, written by active artists and educators Zane Forshee, Christina Manceor, and Robin McGinness, draws on Peabody’s Breakthrough Curriculum, which guides students through a process of developing their professional identities as artists so that they can successfully launch careers post-graduation. Free and accessible resources like this are invaluable for those starting out in a creative field; share it widely with the evolving artists in your life.
