Summer Rock in the Balkans

Each summer for the past 18 years, Music Connects has brought 60 young people from divided and marginalized communities across the Western Balkans together in Skopje (the capital of North Macedonia) to write rock music, make friends, and discover what they can create together. A survey last summer found that 89% of participating young people left in a more positive mood, and 87% felt more creative.
