BBC Launches U.K.-Wide Program “Get Singing”

Earlier this year, the BBC launched Get Singing, the largest U.K.-wide music education program in a decade. The program aims to get more young people ages 11–14 singing by offering free resources on its website, including scores, backing tracks, and video resources from high-profile musicians like program ambassador and Grammy-winner Jacob Collier. The program will roll out workshops for young singers, teachers, and music leaders and produce a research report on the benefits of collective singing. While the program is U.K.-focused, the resources on the BBC’s website are free and accessible to all.
