Since 2009, that mission has come to life through an outreach model, wherein music and life-skills teachers make long, often demanding journeys across communities.

It worked. It reached thousands. But in 2026, we’re trying something new: the Hub Model.

TUTTI Passeurs d’Arts is a network of children’s and youth orchestras in France, committed to creating learning environments conducive to the development of children from all backgrounds. Our commitment naturally aligns with the global family of programs inspired by El Sistema in Venezuela and its founder, Maestro José Antonio Abreu. We share the deep conviction that orchestral practice transforms life paths and opens doors where none have seemed to exist.

One of our most accomplished initiatives, TUTTI Bretagne, embodies this vision in a particularly concrete way.

When Lotus Centre for Special Music Education opened its doors in Ottawa, Canada in 2012, we thought our mission was clear: provide access to high-quality music instruction for students with exceptionalities and disabilities who were being left out of traditional lessons. What we didn’t yet realize was that our students were about to become our greatest teachers, shifting our organization from a provider of services to a learning community shaped directly by their needs and strengths.

Cuando me enteré de que la organización Arco de Equidad presentaba un concierto sinfónico de viento y un curso intensivo de aprendizaje que reunía a jóvenes músicos infrarrepresentados y a la USMB, me quedé extasiada. Era la oportunidad de estar al lado de mis ídolos, las personas a las que había admirado desde que los descubrí. Me preparé como nunca. Y, finalmente, el duro trabajo dio sus frutos: Me seleccionaron. Fue surrealista; por finla oportunidad de actuar con mis héroes, mis mentores, mis amigos.

La emoción creció durante semanas... hasta el 24 de febrero, cuando recibí un terrible correo electrónico que decía: "De acuerdo con las recientes Órdenes Ejecutivas que afectan a la programación relacionada con la DEI para las agencias federales, la Banda de los Marines ha recibido instrucciones de cancelar nuestra colaboración".
