Music Finds a Way in Gaza

Bombs destroyed the well-equipped buildings of the Palestine National Conservatory and war displacement scattered its faculty. But that didn’t stop these Gaza musicians.  They have reopened their conservatory in tents along the beach at al-Mawasi. “Music has become an important tool for psychological relief. We work with lots of children who suffer from trauma and psychological distress caused by the war,” says former and current faculty member Ahmed Abu Amsha, in this article in The Guardian.
