El Sistema USA is focusing on inclusion and accessibility in their 2026 programming. “We Are Here | Aquí Estamos” is this year’s theme for their National Symposium (May 15–16 in Houston, TX), celebrating work that advances equity in music education. Early-bird registration closes on February 15 and proposal submissions are open through March 6.
Applications are also open for ESUSA’s 2026 Collegiate Access for Young Musicians Application Accelerator Cohort, beginning February 17. The program offers a series of virtual sessions designed to support high school sophomores and juniors navigating the college music application process while facing financial, geographic, or cultural barriers.
