Afrocentric SEL Workshop
09-21-2022
On October 8, the Black Teaching Artist Lab will offer an online workshop to introduce their Afrocentric Social Emotional Learning Framework, equipping arts educators to empower Black youth through their teaching practices. The workshop is donation-based and open to teaching artists, arts-education administrators, and cultural organizations from all backgrounds. Registration for the webinar is available through Eventbrite. The Black Teaching Artist Lab is a professional development organization connecting Black teaching artists and learners from the African Diaspora through arts education to strengthen intercultural understanding.
