Voices of Culture Brainstorming Report: “Youth, Mental Health, and Culture”

The European Commission has set out to show how participation in arts and cultural programs positively impacts youth mental health in a recently published Brainstorming Report, “Youth, Mental Health, and Culture.” The report details the outcomes of the Voices of Culture program, collecting evidence of the cultural sector’s influence on youth mental health and making recommendations to increase the arts and culture sector’s role in public health across Europe. This report is for cultural practitioners as well as policymakers who can benefit from the recommendations of the 53 participating organizations working in culture, health, education, and social services. Even if you aren’t based in Europe, this report can support your advocacy and planning.
