Ed Sheeran Leads Call for UK to Invest in Music Education
04-02-2025
Some of the UK’s biggest musicians are calling on UK politicians to restore funding for music education. The call is spearheaded by the Ed Sheeran Foundation, a newly formed nonprofit providing grants and advocacy for youth-focused music programs. The letter, signed by Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Paloma Faith, and many other musicians, can be read in full here. The UK is far from the only country facing cuts to music education programs, and we hope their message can inspire others to advocate on behalf of music programs around the world.
