Celebrate Make Music Day
06-21-2023
Today is the 41st annual World Music Day, or Fête de la Musique, a worldwide celebration of free and accessible music. If you don’t have any plans yet, it’s not too late to grab your instrument or a musical friend and hit the streets. And if you’re looking for events happening in your corner of the world, the Make Music Day website, hosted by the NAMM Foundation, offers a list of international events happening today. At the very least, let’s shout out our colleagues for all their hard work supporting communities through music. Thinking about organizing an event for next year? The NAMM website also offers resources for event planners.
