JM International Invites Creative Pitches for enCORE Accelerando
Today’s music students are changing the face of classical music. JM International’s enCORE Accelerando program is looking to precipitate that change, providing a platform for youth from around the world to reinvent ways of practicing and presenting classical music during a five-day event in Budapest, Hungary on June 3–7, 2023. Young classical musicians ages 18–30 are invited to submit their creative ideas along with a CV/resume and motivational letter via an online application form by March 31, 23:59 CET. Up to 30 participants will be selected to attend the five-day workshop, where they’ll receive mentoring from industry professionals and participate in workshops on project management, fundraising, and communications, honing and eventually pitching their creative ideas (solo or in teams) to a professional jury. The top three projects will receive grants of €1,000 each, with the winning project receiving additional training, support, and promotion over the following year. Selected participants will also have the chance to take part in the “Bach to the Future” conference, connecting with industry leaders from around the world to explore new trends in classical music. Encourage the young musicians in your life to apply today so they can lead this change from the front.
