Applications Open for the Global Student Prize

03-15-2023

Attention community leaders, music educators, and band and choir directors: here is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the young people who go above and beyond in your programs. The Chegg.org Global Student Prize, in partnership with the Varkey Foundation, is looking to recognize students who are making a difference in their communities. Students 16 years and older who are enrolled in an academic institution or training and skills programs are eligible to apply for the $100,000 prize. Applications are accepted in a variety of languages (English, Mandarin, Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian) and will be evaluated on the basis of students’ academic achievement, their impact on their peers, how they make a difference in their community, and how they demonstrate global citizenship skills such as creativity and innovation. To apply or to nominate a student, visit the Varkey Foundation application portal. Applications are open until April 2, 2023.
