On October 10–11, the University of Florida Center for Arts in Medicine is hosting the “Creating Healthy Communities 2022 Convening,” welcoming students, professionals, and organizations who are engaged in the arts, public health, and community development initiatives. The gathering aims to build healthier and more equitable communities through cross-sector collaboration, exchanging practices, research, and policy models from around the world. Registration is currently open online with both in-person and virtual options. Scholarship applications for virtual participation can be submitted through September 30, prioritizing emerging professionals, practicing artists, BIPOC, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, and individuals residing in and/or directly serving rural communities around the world.
