ESUSA Announces Call for Submissions for ‘22 Symposium & Seminario
In last month’s Basket, we asked you to save the date for El Sistema USA’s National Symposium and Seminario, happening virtually April 28–30 this year. Since that announcement, ESUSA has begun accepting presentation proposals that address this year’s theme, “Pathways Forward.” They are seeking presentations that explore “how we can support our Sistema-inspired communities through the duration of the pandemic and in the recovery efforts post-pandemic.” There are myriad ways to do this—both live and pre-recorded—and ESUSA provides plenty of additional information via this submission page. The deadline to submit requests for proposals is Sunday, March 6 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, and applications are open to international organizations as well as those in the U.S. If you have an idea that you’re excited about, why not share it with your colleagues in the field?
