Applications Are Open for the AIM Teaching Awards 2022
02-16-2022
The Academy for Impact through Music (AIM) is accepting applications for its 2022 Teaching Awards, which will recognize up to nine music educators who demonstrate a distinct connection to AIM’s pedagogical framework—the Five Pillars you read about on our site last month. Winners will receive €750 and can submit application videos in three categories: Individual Relationships and Care, Empowered Decisions, and Musical Purpose and Context. Learn more from this introductory video. The deadline to apply is April 15; anyone is welcome to submit and can do so in English or Spanish.
And if you’re unfamiliar with AIM, check out this introductory article by The Ensemble‘s own Eric Booth (who also serves as AIM’s Senior Advisor) from last month.
