Apply for El Sistema Sweden’s Side by Side Summer Camp

Applications are now open for Side by Side, El Sistema Sweden’s international orchestra and choir camp for young musicians. Happening in partnership with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, the camp will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, June 18–22, 2022. The event is a summer hub for thousands of young musicians to meet and perform together—even when forced to go digital, as they have for the past two years.

Happily, next year’s camp will take place in person; Side by Side has announced a capacity of 2,000 participants. But slots are still limited. The first application period ends on December 14, followed by an additional two rounds for those who miss the deadline.
