How do you assess quality in your program?
How do we think about quality in our Sistema-inspired programs, in any arts learning programs? How do we evaluate it? These questions and many more lay at the heart of a two year study by Ingenuity in Chicago. Ingenuity is the single organization that gathers and distributes data, strategy, advocacy and policy from all the different stakeholders and participants in Chicago’s arts education ecosystem. For this research, Ingenuity undertook over 50 exploratory conversations with more than 400 individuals from 140 organizations and published their Standards of Practice in 2016. Their report answers complex questions about determining quality and many other questions that lie at the heart of Sistema-inspired programs. Read the entire study here.
