NEOJIBA goes on its Seventh International Tour
The NEOJIBA Youth Orchestra of Bahia, Brazil will embark on its seventh international tour this coming month. Students will perform nine concerts in Italy, Switzerland and France, beginning on 2 September in Torino, and finishing with an already sold-out concert at the Philharmonie de Paris. The orchestra includes 112 musicians, ages 14-27. Conducted by NEOJIBA founder/director Ricardo Castro, they will perform works by Schumann, Dvorak, Liszt, Wagner, and composers from South and North America. In Switzerland, Maestro Eduardo Salazar — as guest conductor — and pianist Ronaldo Rolim — as soloist — will share the stage with the NEOJIBA Youth Orchestra.

La Orquesta Juvenil NEOJIBA de Bahía, Brasil se embarcará en su séptima gira internacional el mes que viene. Los estudiantes tocarán nueve conciertos en Italia, Suiza, y Francia, empezando el 2 de septiembre en Torino, y acabando con un concierto ya agotado en la Philharmonie de Paris. La orquesta incluye a 112 músicos entre las edades de 14-27 años. Dirigidos por el director fundador de NEOJIBA, Ricardo Castro, tocarán obras de Schumann, Dvorak, Liszt, Wagner, y compositores de las Américas. En Suiza, la Orquesta Juvenil NEOJIBA compartirá la tarima con el maestro Eduardo Salazar, director invitado, y el pianista Ronaldo Rolim, solista.
