OrKidstra Joins Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra on International Tour

Six young musicians from Ottawa’s OrKidstra will embark on an exciting opportunity for cultural exchange later this month. They will join Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra on their international tour to Japan and the Republic of Korea, including side-by-side rehearsals and performances with young musicians from El Sistema Japan and Sistema New Brunswick. The tour will culminate at the World Expo in Japan on June 6, with a bilingual performance and celebration of late Canadian jazz legend Oscar Peterson’s 100th birthday.
