New Learning Tool Helps You See What You Hear

04-02-2025

Here is a cool audio-visual tool for guiding students, concert attendees—really, anyone—into greater enjoyment and understanding of classical music. The project, Music:Eyes, was developed by Etienne Abelin, a Swiss conductor/violinist and co-founder of the Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra who’s now Music Director for the ESYO CHIME program in Albany. (While you’re at it, check out Etienne’s piece for us in last year’s Festival Issue.)

April 2025 Basket, Audio-Visual Music Education, Classical Music Engagement Tools, Classical Music Visualization Tool, Digital Tools for Music Education, Engaging Concert Attendees, Enhancing Audience Experience, Enhancing Music Appreciation, ESYO CHIME Program, Etienne Abelin Project, Innovation in Music Pedagogy, Interactive Classical Music Experience, Interactive Music Listening, Modern Approaches to Music Education, Music Education Technology, Music Learning Through Technology, Music Understanding Through Visualization, Music:Eyes, Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra, Swiss Conductor Music Innovation, Visualizing Classical Music
