Miami Music Project Wins Big Grant to Support Teaching Artists

Big news from the Miami Music Project’s Teaching Artists Training Institute! They just received a whopping $1.3 million grant from the Paul M. Angell Family Foundation, offering multi-year support to increase the social impact of teaching artists in music education. TATI serves teaching artists across the U.S. through year-round virtual training, in-person workshops, and weeklong intensives; they’ve engaged 350 teaching artists to date, who in turn support 30,000 young people. This grant is a tremendous opportunity to scale up their impact so even more young people can benefit from musical experiences.
