Mockingbird Foundation Offers Funding to U.S. Music Education Programs

The Mockingbird Foundation is currently inviting inquiries for funding from schools and organizations that provide music education programs to U.S. students. The foundation supports a range of school-based and extra-curricular programs, with a focus on supporting unconventional initiatives and underserved communities. Inquiries can be submitted via this form through January 15, 2023, with full proposals invited in early Spring 2023. Grants range from $100–$10,000. To get a better sense of what they fund, you can visit their website to check past grants as well as a handy pie chart of funded projects, broken down by category. So far, instrument funding has come out on top at 37% of funded projects.
