NAfME Shares New Covid-Safety Guidelines for Music Classrooms

The National Association for Music Education has published updated safety guidelines for music classrooms attempting to reconvene this fall. Their latest recommendations center on aerosol treatment, relying on research from The International Coalition Performing Arts Aerosol Study, and include best practices for protecting against the virus’s Delta variant. NAfME continues to encourage wearing masks while playing indoors, as well as at least three feet of distancing and bell covers for brass instruments. Read more at NAfME.
