Art-Train Offers Funding Tips and Tech Assistance for Arts Workers

06-01-2021

Art-Train is moving down the tracks. Created by Springboard for the Arts and the Center for Performance and Civic Practice, it is a virtual technical assistance program for artists, municipal agencies, community nonprofits, and arts councils in communities of all sizes across the U.S. Most prominently, Art-Train gets you up to speed on all the ways to tap government funding connected to pandemic relief you may have missed. Virtual training sessions include information on accessing resources, including American Rescue Plan funds, and best practices in equitable collaboration. After an initial virtual training session, participants receive one year of ongoing technical assistance through an online resource library and optional bi-weekly group coaching and networking rooms with Art-Train staff, experts, and an expanding network of peers. BIPOC community-based organizations and individual artists are invited to sign up for free. Large agencies/organizations (10+ workers): $300 per person; small organizations (fewer than 10 workers): $150 per person. Visit art-train.org.
