Leadership Opportunities for Young People in Africa
AfterSchoolAfrica (aSA) has compiled a list of 25 global leadership opportunities for people ages 18–40 in Africa. Though a few deadlines have elapsed, the majority of these opportunities are timely and worthwhile. Per aSA, “These programs include advance training, mentorship, paid travel expense[s], accommodation and in some cases funding for your project.” And don’t limit the scope of your inquiry—aSA emphasizes that these opportunities all cover travel costs, which they name as a primary hurdle in African students receiving international exposure and experience. Be sure to check their Facebook page for updates as well.
