Sessions Still Available for Fifth Annual SIMM-posium Conference

02-17-2021
Online sessions are still running for the fifth annual SIMM-posium conference, which provides a platform for conversation and debate around the social impact of making music (SIMM). Hosted in Brussels this year, the sessions were reformatted for pandemic times and made available online through a series of nine weekly sessions. Each week brings together an international group of musicians and educators to examine music learning’s social impact across the globe; registration is free and on a rolling basis. The next session, scheduled for February 23, focuses on “what motivates musicians to become active in social music projects.”
