Join the Global Leaders Program

Last month’s issue of The World Ensemble carried an article on the annual gathering in Chile of The Global Leaders Program 2019 Cohort — an initiative of The Orchestra of the Americas with support from the Hildegard Behrens Foundation. The Global Leaders Program is a nine-month Executive Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship, Cultural Agency, Teaching Artistry, Civic Leadership, and Organizational Management that is offered annually to a cohort of 40 promising musical change-makers around the world.

The program is led in partnership with nine universities and think tanks, and its curriculum combines live online learning with on-field experiences in communities around the world. The Program is designed for busy professionals to take part in while they work, and Cohort members report an average of 32% growth in their income within two years of graduating. The Program is now accepting applications for next year’s cohort, which starts classes on September 2019. Súmate al Programa de Líderes Globales

La edición del mes pasado de The World Ensemble incluyó un artículo sobre la reunión anual en Chile de la Cohorte del Programa Líderes Globales 2019 — una iniciativa de la Orquesta de las Américas con el apoyo de la Fundación Hildegard Behrens. El Programa de Líderes Globales es un certificado graduado ejecutivo en emprendimiento social, acción social, enseñanza de arte, liderazgo cívico, y gestión organizacional, el cual se ofrece anualmente a una cohorte de 40 agentes de cambio musical más prometedores de todo el mundo.

El programa se dirige en colaboración con nueve universidades y think-tanks, y su currículo combina el aprendizaje en vivo online con experiencias de campo en comunidades por todo el mundo. El programa se diseñó para que profesionales ocupados puedan participar mientras trabajan, y los miembros de la cohorte reportan un crecimiento mediano del 32% en un salario dentro de dos años después de graduarse. El programa ahora está aceptando aplicaciones para la cohorte del próximo año, que empezará sus clases en septiembre de 2019.
