An Orchestra of Healers

AdventHealth, one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the United States, has taken a unique approach to supporting its healthcare workers: an AdventHealth Orchestra for its employees. In 2021, the orchestra came together during a particularly challenging time for their field, performing a musical tribute to team members lost to Covid at Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. As the saying goes, healers need healing too, and music programs like this help participants bond, stay motivated during hard times, and process their emotions in healthy ways.
