Video Series Ignites Creativity for Teaching Artists

Professional development opportunities are essential for so many reasons, but one in particular often gets lost: they help keep creativity alive in our work. Arts Alive, the learning and innovation hub of the National Arts Centre in Ontario, Canada, is contributing a free video series, “Igniting Creativity Through the Arts,” for early-career teaching artists and artist educators. The series provides a wealth of perspectives from seasoned arts educators that address the opportunities and challenges faced by arts education programs. Topics range from inclusive approaches to working with diverse groups to exploring the intrinsic motivation behind our teaching artistry. More than just a resource for students who are entering the field, this video series can be a springboard for your own creative inquiry.
