Open Society Foundations–Africa Announces First Call for Proposals

04-20-2022

The Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa, part of the Open Society Foundations (OSF) network, invites Africa-based organizations working in the areas of expression, equity, justice, and women’s rights to apply for their first call for grant proposals. OSF-Africa supports innovative projects that respond to barriers to a more open and democratic society in Africa, employing arts and culture, technology, and impact investment to address social challenges—this definitely includes music for youth empowerment projects. OSF lists priority countries (Pan-African and sub-regional proposals are also welcome) on their website, providing additional information on their criteria. Completed proposals can be sent by email no later than May 13 to: OSF-Africa-Proposals@osisa.org.
