Wallace Foundation Seeks Arts Organizations of Color to Join New Research Initiative
08-03-2021
The Wallace Foundation is launching a five-year, $53 million initiative focused on arts organizations of color. They are asking for these organizations to share their experiences of community orientation. In their words: “We hope to learn what organizations of color, many of whom have community orientation in their DNA, can teach the larger field about the links between community orientation, relevance and resilience.” A selected cohort of 10–12 organizations will participate in planning and reflection sessions, working with researchers to distill key takeaways that can impact strategy. The deadline to submit letters of interest is August 13; learn more at the Wallace Foundation.
