New Opportunities from the International Alliance for Women in Music

The International Alliance for Women in Music is offering two funding opportunities to help increase women’s representation in music performance and education. IAWM members are eligible to apply for a $300 Programming Award, supporting greater gender equity in music through the inclusion of women composers and artists in their performances. And The Educator Grant supports music educators serving students ages 4–18 in bringing a greater focus on women in music in their classrooms. The $300 grant can be applied towards professional development, materials, commissions, guest artists, or other media. IAWM membership is encouraged but not required to apply.
