Nucleo Founder Honored by the King of England

The teaching artistry field has caught the attention of the King of England. At just 31 years old, Nucleo CEO and Founder Lucy Maguire was just appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in honor of her service to young people through music. Nucleo continues its program in North Kensington and now also offers two national initiatives: the Young Leaders Programme and the Instrument Donation Bank. Lucy’s honor is our field’s gain—here’s hoping more arts practitioners are recognized for their public service!
