New Brunswick Government Supports El Sistema NB’s ‘10,000 Children’ Vision

Thanks to an $8.2 million contribution from the provincial government, El Sistema New Brunswick is closer to its goal of serving 10,000 children across their many programs. Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Bill Hogan and other government ministers have actually sat in with the orchestra to demonstrate their commitment to increasing arts access for children. We call on more governments to support arts programs like these; as Sistema NB President & CEO Ken MacLeod says in this CBC interview, “This is not an expense. This is an investment in the lives of our children.”
