A Trove of New Choral Arrangements, Free to the Global Field

10-19-2022

The Songs for Europe program, spearheaded by Gerald Wirth (Vienna Boys’ Choir) and funded by Creative Europe, drew to a close in September after two years of activities with partners Wirth Music Academy, Superar Slovakia, House of Good Tones Srebrenica, and El Sistema Greece. The program trained teaching artists in the Wirth Method, which supports the development of choral leadership and performance skills through a combination of shared feedback and best practices. As a capstone to the project, participating teaching artists created new choral arrangements, which are available for free to teachers worldwide. For a further look into the process, check out the Songs for Europe Documentary on YouTube.
