Grant Opportunities for Caribbean Artists

UNESCO and ACP-EU have announced a new grant program: Creative Caribbean – An Ecosystem of “Play” for Growth and Development. Available to artists and cultural organizations in 15 countries across The Caribbean, the grants are designed to foster growth and development in the region’s cultural and creative sectors. Individual artists and organizations can apply to one or more of several grants, with priority given to women and young or emerging artists under certain grant schemes. The Caribbean’s rich musical culture has had an enormous influence on artists and music programs around the world. If you know a Caribbean-based artist or organization who can benefit from this program, encourage them to apply by June 16 at 11:59 p.m. EST. More information is available at UNESCO.
