New Fellowship Program Supports Cultural Workers in the Global South

04-20-2022

In response to the limited support given to arts and cultural sectors in the Global South, Living Arts International has launched the South-South Arts Fellowships—a pilot program to deepen connections among cultural workers living and working in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. Five fellowships of 3,000 USD each will be offered to support existing initiatives that address a specific gap in South-South cultural exchange and contribute to building long-term professional networks and collaborations. Additional funding is available for Fellows to curate inter-regional hybrid and virtual events. The fellowships will run from July to December 2022, as a first step toward building a longer-term transnational program. Applications are due May 15 and can be submitted via this Google Form.
