Two Opportunities from Musicians Without Borders

03-16-2022

Musicians Without Borders is offering a webinar and in-person training in 2022, both focusing on the role of musicians in supporting communities affected by conflict.

“The Sounding Peace Sessions: Music in/as Peacebuilding” takes place on March 22, launching two new reports exploring the role of music in peacebuilding, including evaluations of MWB’s work in Palestine, El Salvador, and the Western Balkans. The webinar is offered by MWB in association with the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music at The University of Melbourne, the Creative Arts Research Institute at Griffith University, and the Music Department at SOAS University of London. Learn more and register here.

MWB’s Music Leadership Training is a five-day course for musicians working with people impacted and displaced by conflict and war. The training takes place July 25–30, 2022 at Akoesticum in Ede, the Netherlands. Register by April 15 at the MWB site for the early-bird rate.
