U.S.-Based Grants Available to Out-of-School Programs for Middle School Students

01-19-2022

The Aim High grant program (funded by the New York Life Foundation and administered by the Afterschool Alliance) supports out-of-school programs serving middle-schoolers in the U.S. Aim High helps prepare economically disadvantaged eighth-graders to succeed in high school by supporting after-school, summer, and expanded learning programs. Funded programs must serve at least 75% low-income youth. A total of $1.8 million in grants will be provided in 2022; different categories of grants range from $15,000 up to $100,000, for both one and two years. The application deadline is February 1, 2022. Visit the Afterschool Alliance website to download the request for proposals and begin the application process.
