Attend a Brussels Philharmonic-Led Music Festival in Chile

10-20-2021

A music festival in Chile’s Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve is offering a unique opportunity for young musicians who desire a career in music. Taking place December 15–21, 2021, the Huilo-Huilo Music Festival will accept 24 musicians between the ages of 18 and 30 who specialize in violin, viola, and cello. The festival will be led by leaders of the Brussels Philharmonic and group participants into three ability levels: intermediate, advanced, or professional. In addition to advanced musical training, the festival will offer complementary opportunities for professional development, including a temporary contract with the Brussels Philharmonic given to the most outstanding participant. There is a cost association to attend, about $244 USD, that covers food, accommodation, and transportation during the festival. Applications are due November 7; learn more about the application process on their website.
