Master teacher/writer Jeffrey Benson, at the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), offers some helpful tips on building socio-emotional skills into teaching. His article, “Small (But Important) Steps to Integrating SEL into Lessons” emphasizes independent learning and self-advocacy.
