New Carnegie Hall Curriculum for Collegiate and Early Professional Musicians

07-21-2021

Carnegie Hall has just launched The Connected Musician—a self-paced interactive video series for collegiate and early professional performers.  The initiative is led by Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble Connect and features guidance from alums of the program and leaders in the field. Available to anyone around the world, the free curriculum introduces a new approach to a career in classical music—the approach used in Ensemble Connect’s two-year Fellowship. The course expands a musician’s toolkit to engage modern audiences in new and unexpected ways.

Speaking of Carnegie Hall, their national youth ensembles—NYO-USA, NYO2, and NYO Jazz—are now convening their first in-person rehearsal intensive and performance since the pandemic. The concert is taking place on Saturday, July 24 at 3 p.m. EDT, and can be viewed online. Visit Carnegie Hall to learn more.
