Big Changes at El Sistema USA

07-06-2021

Last week, El Sistema USA announced that Katie Wyatt would be leaving her role as ESUSA President and CEO in order to serve as Executive Director of the Weymouth Center for the Arts and Humanities, where she will continue to serve her community (and hometown!) of Southern Pines, NC.

On July 1, ESUSA welcomed former board member Angelica Cortez as Interim President and CEO. Angelica has long been an active member of the music-for-social-change community, having served in roles at The Juilliard School and the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s YOLA programs, and as a Sphinx LEAD Fellow.
