Reflection Series on Anti-Racism and Cultural Education Asks, ‘Where Do We Go from Here?’

04-21-2021

From August to December 2020, the Teaching Artistry with Courtney J. Boddie podcast and Creative Generation collaborated with 22 inspiring artists, educators, and community activists—21 of whom are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)—through the We Can’t Go Back video series. It followed their journeys as they explored their anti-racist, liberatory, and intersectional feminist practices through the arts. The end result of We Can’t Go Back is a resource-packed 28-page archive of the video interview series and cumulative reflection titled Where Do We Go from Here?, which highlights the many practices, strategies, and fundamental shifts in arts and cultural work—for educators and for institutions—to document and spur the reimagination of a future we move toward.
