#WEpractice Challenge and Ambassador Updates

The WE Ambassadors featured image was created by Timor Sultani, our World Ensemble Ambassador from El Sistema Sweden. The first group of WE Ambassadors have hit the ground running, creating graphics and communication channels to get to know each other, connect across the globe, and share information about their lives as Sistema musicians. You can read more about this amazing group of musicians here.

On our Facebook page, WE Ambassador Aurian White from Sistema Whangarei posted a photo of herself practicing along with her two brothers as part of our 2019 Practice Challenge. Check out our Instagram page for more #WEpractice responses, including a touching post  from Ambassador  Axelle Miel (Ang Misyon) about the challenges of balancing academics and music. Do you have students struggling with this issue? Do you want to give your students a fun and engaging way to practice? Then have them participate in our 2019 Practice Challenge! Just post photos or videos of students practicing using the hashtag #WEpractice. We want to know how students around the world practice – what spaces they use, suggestions they might have for motivation, or struggles they face.

Here is another post from WE Ambassador Luara Baqueiro (NEOJIBA) about the importance of researching composers and music history in addition to instrumental practice time. Our Ambassadors have had a great time getting to know each other, and we hope you will encourage your students to join us, by sharing and posting!
